We are always ready to serve the citizens of Berea, KY!
Berea Volunteer Fire and Rescue is a not-for-profit fire and rescue service that services the beautiful city of Berea, Kentucky. We work hand-in-hand with the Berea Fire Department, operated by the city of Berea. We assist Berea Fire with its fire response and run lead on rescue operations within the area. We are not a tax supported department, and rely on the generosity of the great people of Berea.
What We Do
Berea Volunteer Fire and Rescue responds to all rescue calls within the city limits of Berea and the surrounding areas.
These calls include, but are not limited to:
- Motor Vehicle Accidents
- Search and Rescue
- Water Rescue
- Animal Rescue
- Hazardous Materials Response
- Aircraft Crash Response
- Rope Rescue
We also respond to any fire scene within the city limits of Berea and the surrounding areas for additional manpower. Traditionally, our training is on Thursday nights, from 6pm to 9pm.
We also conduct many fundraisers per year to be able to support the rescue squad's operations.
